I was always fascinated by the idea of reverse sponsorships. In many ways, I think many of us align with this type of approach when it comes to who we want to do business with.

In a world where people have thrived becoming influencers sponsored by the different brands that might pay them the most, we’ve lost a sense of genuineness that I believe is crucial in any form of communication.

This is a part of an interview I did with my brother, Jon, inside of the gym he built at his private residential school in New York. In this segment, I decided to throw a curve ball for Jon and present a scenario that hadn’t actually happened, yet. I do this often with my subjects during interviews, and I particularly like doing it with Jon because he’s one of the best at it.

As you will see, the idea was for him to respond to the donation No Bull, a footwear and apparel brand, had made to the school where all of the students in his program were given a free pair of shoes. Jon then jokingly mentions the size they sent, which he implies were all his size. He then brings seriousness to the message itself and I believe it’s both powerful and funny, and most certainly worth sharing.
